House fire that came in at 12:30 am Friday on C - shift.

The house was fully involved when crews arrived on scene and it quickly became an exterior attack.

The house was built right after the Texas City Disaster in 1947.

The man residing in the house made it out safely before our arrival.

The decision was made to bring in a City gradall machine and level the house due to the extensive damage.

Crews from Station 2 and Central were on scene until 4 am.
