LED Conversion

I now have LEDs in all my light housings. One thing about them is that when you go cheap, you get cheap. SUPERBRIGHTLED.COM has an excellent FAQ Page on them.

Here is a link to every light your Durango has, which includes the stock bulbs as well as the LED's. The DodgeDurango.net Forum.

Replaced all Dome Lights with High Powered LED's and all lights can be found at SuperBrightLED.com

Front two bulbs are WLED-xHP5 and are the White LEDs.

Center bulb over the second row of seats is the 4210xHP6 in the Cool White

The rear bulb located in the back hatch is the RL4410-xHP9 in the Cool White

You will not be disappointed in these bulbs. They are High Powered and light up the D so much better than the stock bulbs and look so much better than the yellow of the stock bulbs.

Just remember that when the LEDs come in, they are the light only. You have to use the stock plastic base on the front two dome lights. Just pull the old bulbs out of the plastic base and insert the new LED.

Here is the front Dome with the LED on the right and the stock the left.

I have also installed a set of the Chrome 3D Tail lights

I have Switchback LED's for the Turn Signal Lights. Switchbacks are designed to switch color when used. In the Tail Lights I have Amber/Red Switchbacks. they are red while running, though when I use my Turn Signal, they flash yellow, then once the Turn Signal is off, they go back to red. Up front, in the Turn Signals, I use 6000K White/Amber Switchbacks. The Brake Lights are Dual Intensity Red LED's. For Reverse Lights, I use the 7W Cree R5 projector with 12-SMD 5050 LED's.

You can also see the front end and frame cleanup I did at the begining of that thread.

Short video of the front Switchbacks working.

I have been running this HID kit now for quite some time without any problems. It is the AC kits and they run better than the regular kits.
After doing extensive Google research, I learned there is a lot of controversy, likes and dislikes about all these kits.
