A public safety expo was held at the Gulf Greyhound Park today. The free expo was a salute to the Firefighters, EMS, Police and other agencies who risk thier lives everyday for the public.

Executive Director of the Galveston County 911 District, Bobby Wright wanted a way to highlight the work that the fire, police ems and other emergency agencies do each day.

There were exhibits from state troopers, local officers, school police, fire departments, ambulance services, swat teams, wildlife and game officers, military personnel and helicopters ranging from an Apache, Blackhawk, Lifeflight and Houston PD.
