This is the last electric fan setup I went with right before going back to a stock clutch fan setup.
I was having major overheating problems when towing my 22' Center Console Boat or the 25' camper. The electric fans could not keep up.

I ordered a stock shroud for this project

My buddy cut a piece of aluminum from a pattern I made to house the fan.

I then shot it with self etching primer.

How it fits on the shroud. I offset the hole to center the fan on the radiator.

I then shot it black

I then used Polyurathane to seal it around the edges inside.

And outside

This is how the old setup looked.

The new setup waiting to go in place. I had to bolt the fan on the inside so it would clear my pullies.

Inside view of fan in place

Shroud setup in place. This setup worked very nice and kept it cooler than when the fan was directly on the radiator. Though as I said, it would not hold up to towing.
